Update
Okay, I'm still scratching my head at this fireworks medley. Not only did John Mellencamp perform on this show, he sang his latest song "This is My Country". Yes, that's the tune you've heard on the Ford commercials. Anyway, he performed this song LIVE at the top of the show. Okay, he wasn't in great voice but he sang it. Why am I hearing the recorded version during the fireworks "spectacular'?? Things that make you go hmmm... I just don't get it.

I think it's because it sounded like he was channeling Bob Dylan the first time...if I didn't recognize the music, I wouldn't have known a single word he said!!!
