Back from the snow...

And into the rain. It's going to be raining here most of the week here in LALA land.

We got home last night and had a great trip. I really hated to leave. As it turned out, we did nothing on Sunday. Miss C woke up at about 4:30A saying "Mommy, I need some water" and immediately proceeded to throw up. Thanks to some quick towel action from G, it didn't go anywhere but that started many runs into the bathroom at approximately 30 minutes apart until about 9AM. After her stomach was empty (and puking up the just consumed water several times), we called the ski school and obviously told them that C wouldn't be making it in. So we didn't get to ski either. I would've liked one more day to ski since I liked the new lift route that we found at the end of Saturday, but oh well. G went to the market to get some ginger ale and some kids Tylenol. And then later went to the ski resort to return his demo skis. C and I just laid low at the house. C watched some movies and napped off and on. She complained that her tummy hurt and needless to say didn't eat anything all day. Thankfully, S's house is so amazing that it was perfectly awesome to just relax and do nothing. There are definitely worse places to live than Park City.

Yesterday, it was snowing. They were expecting 1-2 feet of snow. Just a little perspective down the road of S's house with the snow.

And since we didn't get to go sledding on Sunday due to illness, we got all bundled up and used the saucers down the driveway. There was a couple of inches already covering the driveway. It was great. C loved it. We made snow angels, threw snowballs, took lots of photos. It was so beautiful and not cold at all.




We also had to do a little shoveling of the driveway. It had been *many* years since G has had to do any snow shoveling but we all did a little bit.




I made my own snow angel and after asking several times for C to join me she just kept saying no. Then a little while later, we looked over and there she was. My little snow angel.


After an almost 2 hour delay, we got on our Jetblue flight and came home to Burbank. Good thing we knew we wouldn't pick up the dogs until this morning. It was a great trip and can't wait to go back.
