3 Year checkup

I knew there was something else to blog about. Carly also had her 3 year check up last Friday. She didn't have to have any shots (thank goodness) since she had whatever shot she needed back when she had her flu shot last November. Anyway, she's 38 inches and weighs 35.5 pounds. 90th percentile in height and weight. The weight thing has pretty much been since day one. I guess she's a good eater which is really quite the oxymoron since she mostly eats Mac n Cheese. The real comedy is in the height. Where did she get to be so tall? (cue the music "Sunrise, Sunset") No one on either side of our families is above average and she's tall. I was always bottom 3 on the height scale growing up. Gregg had his growth spurt when he was liek 16 but he's 5'11" which is average. And yet, we have a daughter in the 90th percentile in height. Go figure. Other than that, she's a happy, healthy normal, right on target 3 year old. We'll take that considering we hadn't seen the doctor since her 2 year checkup. No doctor visits (other than the above mentioned flu shot). Pretty darn good.
